make an extremely light, but yet stiff F3 and durable frame.
The Cannondale Headshok is superior to other suspension
fork designs in a number of ways. The Headshok has sleeved
needle bearings (88 of them) that dissipate friction giving
it smooth travel while making the fork rigid laterally for
the best psossible control. Conventional forks use bushings
which wear out much faster causing lateral play and "stiction".
Bearings can last for years with very little wear. The F3
(right) comes with a Furio frame design and Headshok, is
a light and responsive bike that hugs the trail without
punishing the rider.
 Aside
from the best hardtails, Cannondale also makes excellent
full suspension frames. The Prophet 8000 (left) is a great
middle-line full suspension, featuring the Lefty front suspension
and a new rear suspension design that has a single pivot
